CraftQuest on Call: HOWL
Join me and Andrew Welch for CraftQuest on Call, our bi-weekly livestream where we talk all things Craft CMS and modern web development.
For today's livestream, we'll look at the ins and outs of the HOWL stack. What's the HOWL stack? Join us to find out!
We'll also look at the new features in Craft 5.7 and how they impact your author's work. Check the link below for the livestream time in your location!
Last week, I published a new lesson on how to make tailing logs in iTerm2 a bit saner using Triggers.
Here's the deal: I was evaluating logging output for a fairly complex feature for a client project. I needed to visually track when certain events happened. iTerm2 Triggers to the rescue!
In this lesson, I show how you can customize your copy iTerm to make logging output in iTerm2 easier to read as it flies by.
Yesterday, the Craft team released Craft 5.7, which boasts a lot of authoring experience improvements.
They put together a new What's New page with the features listed out.
Craft CMS Critical Update
Last week, a critical update was released for Craft CMS 3, 4, and 5. This update addresses a RCE vulnerability.
The updated versions are: 5.6.17, 4.14.15, and 3.9.15.
These releases are marked as critical updates, and should be installed as soon as possible.
What's Coming Up?
Here's what I have planned right:
Building an Agency Website with Craft CMS
CAPTCHAs and Turnstile in Craft CMS
Bi-weekly CraftQuest Casual livestream
