It's SXSW week here in Austin, TX, and the city is filling up with attendees. See an interesting link at the bottom of the email to watch a panel discussion I attended yesterday.
I have a few new updates from CraftQuest to share with you, so let's get on with it!
🆕 Introducing CraftQuest Casual Livestream
I'm introducing a new livestream series called CraftQuest Casual. It takes place at 9:30 AM ET on the off weeks from our long-running CraftQuest on Call livestream.
Join me for an information session with no set topic–it's a space for conversation and questions about whatever's relevant to you. It's a relaxed way to connect with each other. I hope to see you there!
For premium members, last week's CraftQuest on Call is now available on-demand for you to watch. Andrew and I attempted to launch a Craft CMS project (the TrailQuest site we build in Real World Craft CMS) on Laravel Cloud even though it's not a Laravel project.
Last week, I shared this new course we launched that teaches you how to build and understand you rown project boilerplate using Vite, Tailwind, DDEV, and Craft CMS. Learn how to create a customized foundation for all of your projects...from scratch.
Are you unsure about a CraftQuest Premium membership, or let your subscription lapse?
Now is a good time to jump back in and take advantage of the fast pace of modern web development and Craft CMS. If you sign up for an annual account, it will carry you through to the early days of Craft 6, which I'll cover comprehensively as soon as the developer preview is available later this year.
Yesterday, I attended a panel discussion at the Society of Digital Agencies SXSW event that covered how creative agencies are using generative AI for their clients in the advertising production space and more.
It's a fascinating look at how Fortune 500 companies are embracing AI as not a shortcut or hack, but as a "creative multiplier" and aid to delivering what they're asking for. Worth the watch!
