Last week, Craft 5.3 went into beta, and its release should be coming soon...maybe tomorrow? 👀
The new version has numerous features and refinements that should make Craft 5 ready for just about any project. If you've been waiting, check out the rundown Andrew Welch and I did on last Thursday's CraftQuest on Call livestream. Check it out below!
Also, I am still looking for new instructors for CraftQuest! Do you have something to share and enjoy teaching? I can help with the technical and editorial aspects, and you get paid for your contribution to the CraftQuest learning catalog. It's a fun collaboration! Find out more on the Authors page.
🌱 Sprig Q&A Livestream with Ben Croker
I'm excited to have Ben Croker back on a livestream this week! We will be live on Thursday, August, 8Ben is going to cover the following:
new features in Sprig
how to build an infinite scroll UI
and questions from you!

Last week on CraftQuest on Call, Andrew and I went through the most important features coming in Craft CMS 5.3: link field, entry type and field merge command, reusable relationship fields, and a lot more.
We covered a bunch of the new features in the hour-long livestream, and you can watch a replay of it to prepare for what's coming!
The new course on adding first- and third-party plugins to CKEditor is now available for premium members. The course is still in-progress but the first five videos are available and will help you through the process of adding first-party plugins to CKEditor.
Along the way, you'll learn more about developing a custom module and asset bundle in Craft CMS.
I have a few more videos in production, which cover adding a third-party plugin and building your own CKEditor plugin.
A few weeks ago, Craft CMS plugin developer Lindsey DiLoreto joined me for a special edition of CraftQuest on Call. Lindsey went through all the major versions of Craft and how the features and control panel UI changed over time. It was a lot of fun to go back to revisit versions of Craft that seem so distant now.
The livestream recording is available for premium members.
I hope to see you in the chat during the livestream on Thursday with Ben Croker. Don't forget to submit your questions about Sprig and have Ben answer them live on the air!
