Setting Up the Project

Where to get the course project code, and how to set up a local project.

All of the project code is available in a Github repository.

To access the code, either clone the repository or download the zip file of the project files.

The repository only contains templates, not an entire Craft CMS installation, so it might easier to just download the zip file.

When you download the zip file, please make sure to choose the start branch first before downloading. This branch contains all of the templates in their starter version.

Both the main directory and the end directory have the completed templates, in case you would like to reference them throughout the course.

The repository only contains the templates directory. We’ll spin up a fresh Craft CMS project locally and use that to build our registration flow.

In this video I’ll use Craft Nitro but you can use your favorite local development setup, whether that’s Craft Nitro, DDEV, Docker, etc. I have videos here on CraftQuest on using these tools, so check those out if you aren’t sure.
