What We'll Learn

In this course, we will cov­er the fol­low­ing topics:

• how to cre­ate a new Astro project
• become famil­iar with the dif­fer­ent parts of an Astro project
• Add Tail­wind to the Astro project
• Work with Astro com­po­nents both as a file-based rout­ed page, and as reusable com­po­nents in oth­er components
• Fetch data from JSON end­point and GraphQL with the glob­al fetch func­tion in Astro
• Use Craft CMS as the data source for the Astro project
• Use Astro’s default tem­plate directives 
• Work with Astro’s Islands, which are dynam­ic UI com­po­nents with­in the sta­t­ic HTML page.

It’s best to learn by doing, so next we’ll look at the project we’ll build dur­ing this course.
