What We're Building

In this course, we will work with a site project that we built dur­ing the Craft CMS Quick-Start Guide course. 

Why build the same site again? Because one good way to learn a frame­work or tool is to build the same thing you’ve built with a dif­fer­ent tool. If you fol­lowed along with the Craft CMS Quick-Start Guide course then you will know the site I nick­named House Quest. It’s a sim­ple real estate agent web­site with real estate mar­ket news. 

The site’s lim­it­ed scope will allow us to learn a new tool with­out drown­ing in fea­tures and requirements.

The site features:

• a home­page
• a mar­ket news con­tent sec­tion with indi­vid­ual entries
• a mar­ket news list­ing page with a list­ing of all of the mar­ket news items
• a con­tact page with just an email address that we’ll upgrade to using a form. 

It’s a sim­ple project and one that is well-suit­ed for a light­weight and pow­er­ful site builder frame­work like Astro.
