Content Modeling the Homepage

No we are ready to plan out our con­tent mod­el for the home­page. It’s tempt­ing to build the entire con­tent mod­el right imme­di­ate­ly, but we don’t want to do too much too soon because our plans could change as we dig fur­ther into the site build. Because of that, we’ll start gen­er­al: plan­ning only the sec­tions and tem­plate, and maybe some fields. 

Build­ing a site is an iter­a­tive process, not a plan it all out and then build it process. You can, of course, do it that way, if you’d like. But you’ll more like­ly than not need to go back and redo some configuration. 

In this video we’ll start with just the home­page and talk through the con­tent mod­el­ing process.
