Section

Sec­tions in Craft CMS are orga­ni­za­tion­al struc­tures for your con­tent. There are dif­fer­ent types of sec­tions, such as Chan­nels, Struc­tures (for hier­ar­chi­cal con­tent), and Sin­gles (for unique, one-off pages). 

A sec­tion defines how entries of a cer­tain type are man­aged, includ­ing their URL format.
